New Project for Newborn Screening of GM2-Gangliosidosis at GelbChem!
We at GelbChem are happy to announce a new project to bring the GM2-Gangliosidoses to our panel of LC-MS/MS assays for Newborn Screening!
With support from a recent STTR grant awarded by the NIH, GelbChem has initiated a new project to develop an LC-MS/MS enzyme assay for the screening of GM2-Gangliosidoses. This assay will focus on screening for Tay Sachs and will additionally be capable of discriminating between the two GM2-Gangliosidoses: Tay Sachs and Sandhoff Disease. A goal of this project will be to multiplex the assay with our existing LC-MS/MS enzyme assays panel.
