Summary

Join our team as a Synthetic Chemist in a project-based contract role. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for the synthesis of chemical materials essential for our enzyme activity screening products. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to showcase your synthetic chemistry expertise, with compensation based on the successful completion of each project. This project-based role allows for flexibility in working hours, empowering you to decide the schedule that suits your needs, whether full-time or part-time.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Execute synthetic chemistry processes to manufacture specified chemical materials (small organic molecules) in gram scale, purify and characterize products by NMR, mass spectrometry, etc.

  • Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality synthesized products.

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand material specifications and project requirements.

  • Document and report synthesis procedures, ensuring clarity for reproducibility.

  • Work within the Company’s quality management system and collaborate with team members in an engaging environment.

  • Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Chemistry with a focus in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.

  • Proven experience in synthetic chemistry, particularly in the synthesis of specified organic compounds.

  • Strong understanding of chemical principles, reaction mechanisms, and purification techniques.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet project deadlines.

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Contract Details

This position is project-based, and compensation will be determined based on the quantity and quality of materials synthesized. Payment will be made upon successful completion of each project milestone. The contract offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a flexible and collaborative environment. Kindly note that this contract position does not include health insurance or additional benefits typically associated with full-time employment. The engagement is project-based, and compensation is structured accordingly.
