GelbChem is seeking an Executive & Quality Assistant to support multiple high-level activities within the Company. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Company’s Top Management, Quality Manager, and Production Manager with tasks ranging from the quality management system to marketing and website management, and laboratory safety practices to science communication. The ideal candidate should be motivated and organized, with good multitasking and communication skills. The Company is seeking a talented and creative individual who is passionate about working collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals in an innovative environment.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of our quality management systems, cGMP/GLP practices, and laboratory safety protocols.

  • Support marketing and website management efforts to promote our products and services.

  • Assist with science communication efforts to enhance Company branding and reputation.

  • Coordinate and manage various projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

  • Organize and maintain documentation related to our quality management systems and regulatory compliance.

  • Provide administrative support to senior executives, including scheduling, organizing meetings, and taking minutes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in benchtop chemistry

  • Experience in Project Management 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with analytical chemistry or LC-MS/MS

  • Experience with cGMP/GLP practices and quality management systems

  • Experience with website management and marketing

  • Experience in financial management

The starting salary for this position is $40,000-$45,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, the position includes a monthly stipend for health insurance, vacation days, and paid holidays.
